Abstract
This detailed study on the susceptibility of house flies to twenty kinds of public health insecticides in Korea were evaluated, and have revealed the resistance of Musca domestica L to DDT and dipterex.
Synthetic pyrethroides and dimethoate have revealed very strong potency to the house-flies. Dibrom (naled) resistance in house-flies has not yet occured despite of frequent applications by thermal of conventional space spray for more than eight years. most of the organophosphorous compounds are becomming someo degree of resistance. These resutls will enable comparisons to be made to susceptibility levels reported elsewhere and provide base-line for future work in Korea. Also presented herein are discussed the "household insedicide" which contained high mamalian toxicity of compounds.
